Fairwarp's Queen

As part of Fairwarp’s thanks for her devotion to service wouldn’t it be great to capture what the Queen means to our community?

  • Do you have a treasured piece of memorabilia we could photograph – commemorative china, newspaper clippings, a biscuit tin or even a doll?

  • Could you share your memories of a local event to celebrate one of the milestones of the Queens reign? Watching the coronation on a tv set for the first time, or a Fairwarp street party?

  • Is the Queen a patron of a charitable cause dear to your heart? Have you ever attended an event where the Queen was present? Maybe you share a birthday, a love for corgi’s or became a parent on the same day.

As part of Fairwarp’s Jubilee Celebrations we hope to have a photographic display, and a short video recording, of both memorabilia and your memories spanning the seven decades.

Please do pop along to the Fairwarp Village Markets on either Saturday 12 February, 12 March or 9 April with your memorabilia to be photographed, and your memories to share.

If you are not able to make any of those dates but would like to contribute, please email
