Fairwarp Village Fete is organised under the auspices of Fairwarp Village Hall Committee (as custodians of the village green). A sub-committee is set up to organise the event and they report back to the village hall committee on progress.

The fete is a traditional event and includes the following events and entertainment:

• Arts and Crafts tent where people can enter categories from a single rose to baked goods to photography and art. There are special categories for children and families. Download the 2023 entry form here

• Live music from local bands

• Children's races - see programme below

• Fun Dog Show - see programme below

• Mini petting zoo and children's entertainer

• BBQ, cocktail bar, tea tent, strawberries and cream, ice cream 

• Fun sideshow games - coconut shy, hook the duck, splat the rat and more

• Tug of war
