These are strange times indeed. And worrying ones. With the number of families being affected by the coronavirus / Covid 19 (which term should we use?) increasing daily, we are told today that in a fortnight or three weeks the surge should reach its peak. Who knows which of us will be affected by then? In what feels like a situation over which we have no real control, we all need stability, rootedness, calm. St Paul says we should be 'rooted and grounded in love'. Jesus said, ' Do not worry about tomorrow'. So: one day at a time; recall all those you know and love and who love you; remember that 'nothing can separate us from the love of God'.
