What a wonderful and entertaining evening it was. With home-grown entertainment that was so varied and ably curated by Angela Tilly. The evening began with two poems from Lyn Telford which made us cry with sorrow and then with laughter. Dr John Caperon (our vicar) regaled us with a reading from Dicken’s A Christmas Carol, the Fairwarp 7 and friends sang a carol in Hungarian and the Christmas surprise was Father Christmas sending his elves to entertain everyone with a variety of dances which you can see in the video above.
